| I undertake to provide a full range of legal services to my business-owning clientele, including on their personal legal matters. In the event that I do not perform certain types of legal services, I have a small network of talented lawyers with other specialties to whom I can refer my clients [without any hidden charges or referral fees]. In this way, I can provide or supervise all of the legal services that any of my clients may need. My firm's motto is: “No broken hearts; no broken bones, and no broken laws”, which means that I do not do matrimonial, personal injury or criminal defense litigation. I do not perform trust and estates or tax-related work, which I refer to other lawyers. I do litigation in the Bankruptcy Court; it is part of my practice to represent individuals and businesses in bankruptcy proceedings that must be commenced when there is either an unavoidable need, or a valid strategic reason to seek bankruptcy protection. My office represents its clients vigorously, enthusiastically and ethically. When an individual or company becomes my client, it is my goal to represent them effectively in all matters, at a reasonable cost, and to develop a long-term lawyer client relationship. The costs of any legal representation can be substantial, especially in a litigation matter. Therefore, I make an effort to describe the likely costs and complications of a new case. I am particularly willing to work with start-up companies, to supervise their initial contracts and shareholder/ partnership agreements and to help them get started right. I have a reputation for being creative and effective, and I seek that in my clients also.
